Review Neural Novelist independently
Journalists, author educators, reviewers, podcasters, YouTubers, newsletter writers, and research organisations are invited to test Neural Novelist critically. Review access does not require favourable coverage, editorial approval, or advance access to conclusions.
Request reviewer access
Email support@neuralnovelist.com with your name, publication or channel, public profile URL, and intended review format. Eligible reviewers can request time-limited access suitable for independent evaluation.
Request accessAccess is offered for evaluation, not in exchange for positive coverage. Reviewers should disclose complimentary access according to their publication rules and applicable law.
Suggested independent test
- Create one synthetic fiction project; do not upload confidential or unpublished third-party material.
- Build a premise, two contrasting characters, a setting, and a short outline or use Discovery Mode.
- Generate or draft at least two connected scenes so continuity can be assessed.
- Run CharacterPsychologist, SceneDirector, DialogueDoctor, ContinuityKeeper, and at least two additional revision assistants.
- Change one Story Bible fact and test whether later supported workflows receive the updated context.
- Export the manuscript in at least one supported format.
- Record provider, model, plan, prompts or settings, retries, editing performed, and test date.
- Report failures, inconsistencies, setup friction, cost, and learning curve alongside strengths.
Questions worth answering
| Area | Independent review question |
|---|---|
| Long-form context | Does the Story Bible help the selected workflows stay grounded across scenes? |
| Character voice | Do characters remain distinguishable, or does the prose converge toward one voice? |
| Continuity | What contradictions are detected, missed, or invented? |
| Editorial usefulness | Are revision suggestions specific and actionable rather than generic? |
| Author control | Can the writer reject, edit, and redirect suggestions without fighting the workflow? |
| Value | How do actual provider costs, subscription price, setup, and time compare with alternatives? |
| Privacy clarity | Are storage, provider processing, BYOK routing, and deletion explanations understandable? |
